Voting Question: is medicaid ass backwards?
ok reason why i ask. hubby got a new job. we lost health insurance im 21weeks pregnant. ok got all the information i needed for medicaid and then sent them it. i was told to let them know of any changes so that is what i did when the other job went bye bye since bcbs is no longer in the picture. i was told when he gets a job they need to know how much hes making how many hours and all that good information. well he started monday i waited on hold over 10 minutes with the main number only to get told since im not on foodstamps im just applying for pregnancy medicaid his income doesnt matter????? that seriously makes no sense to me. i thought since im married his income does matter??? i dont want anymore delays since my doctors office does accept medicaid and i would love to keep my next appointment. well heres a question. did i royally scew up when i filled in more then i needed??? i put our car information down since theres a loan on it but its in hubbys name only and when he lost the other job i called up like i was told to notify them of changes and they took him completly off my case. i probably shouldnt have put the car on there since it wasnt in my name but i figured it might help me get coverage. but now they say they dont need his info im a bit worried.
